Senior Legal Counsel (m/f/d)

numa is a hospitality brand offering uniquely designed apartments for the modern traveller. We develop and operate a new category of lifestyle apartments whether it is for your weekend city trip, business travel or temporary home. Our uniquely designed apartments are located in the most exciting neighbourhoods and cities, that will make you feel like a local. numa offers you a consistent quality and guest experience no matter where your next trip will take you. To achieve our mission, we are building a proprietary technology and data platform connecting hospitality services, real estate and guest experiences.

We are seeking a fully qualified German lawyer with experience in real estate deals, commercial lease agreements, and legal hospitality knowledge.

• Management and execution of real estate deals in Germany (i.a. drafting, reviewing and negotiating) and outside of Germany with external law firms

• Advice on public and private construction law

• Drafting, reviewing and negotiating of various commercial agreements (i.a. service agreements, sales & purchase agreements, NDAs)

• Managing of litigation and debt protection/collection matters

• Advice on various corporate and compliance matters (internal/external)

• Building the numa of tomorrow from a legal and scale perspective

• German qualified lawyer with +5 years of experience (achieved first and second German state examination with above average results)

• 3+ years of experience in real estate transactions with a major (inter)national law firm is mandatory

• Knowledge of commercial lease agreements in German jurisdiction

• Legal hospitality knowledge is a plus

• Strong negotiation skills

• Fluency in written and spoken German and English

• Independent way of working
