Data Analyst (Remote) - Operational Departments (m/f/d)

To achieve our mission, we are building a proprietary technology and data platform connecting hospitality services, real estate and guest experiences.

We are seeking a skilled data and process analyst to join and support our two largest operational departments at numa. In this position, you will be responsible for visualizing and analyzing various datasets for the departments Operations and Guest Experience, with the goal of identifying trends, patterns, scalability opportunities and insights that can inform business processes and strategies driving  growth. 

Mission

• Establish data collection processes to analyze large datasets from various sources
• Create visualizations and reports in BI tools (e.g. Looker) and presentations to effectively communicate findings to stakeholders and leadership teams
• Proactively identify key trends and patterns in the data, develop action plans to address identified issues and formulate recommendations on process improvements
• Collaborate with operational departments to identify areas of improvement and implement business strategies
• Participate in regular hands-on trainings within both departments to understand the daily business and processes
• Stay current with industry trends and new technologies related to data analysis
• Directly report to the COO

• Bachelor's or Master's degree. If it's in a related field (e.g. data analytics, statistics, mathematics, computer science) or Business administration with a focus on one of the above mentioned areas this is a plus)
• 2+ years in data analysis or business consultant role (with a focus on data visualization)
• C1 in English (German, Spanish or Italian is plus)
• SQL 2+ years
• Looker or similar BI tool (2+ years)
• Data Analytics/Mathematics/Statistics/Computer sciences
• GSuite (Gsheets, GDoc, Gslides)
• Data visualization/Data story telling
• Analytical thinking
• Ability to translate complex data into easy to read presentations
• Hands-on mentality
• Attention to detail
• Independent & proactive worker
• Willingess to travel if required for detailed analysis
• Experience in Hospitality is a plus
